Falling for Macrame

Hello! Welcome back!  I am having this obsession with Macrame and I can’t wait to share with you this shoot I did a few months back.  Yes I am behind on sharing this, but Hey, Blogging isn’t my forte but decorating is!

So here we go!  This couple was so amazing! So nice and easy to work with!  I love finding a groom that doesn’t mind getting his picture taken, because lets be honest… don’t most men feel like its a form of torture???  I know mine does, which is exactly why I take his picture all the time!  Ha!

The backdrop

Lets start with this gorgeous Macrame backdrop.  Its actually 2 pieces that I have tied together to make it much wider.  This was so pretty hanging from the branches of our Mesquite trees.  The natural dark desert trees in the background makes my Arizona loving heart sing.  The Boho vibe flows naturally in our pasture.

The Tablescape

The farmhouse table with the macrame runner is to die for!  I absolutely love all the textures happening here.  So many layers, that’s what I love about Boho.  Looks and feels well traveled yet comfortable.  Let’s not forget about those hanging pots!  In case you haven’t noticed, I love hanging things from my trees.  All of my trees have reachable branches to add gorgeous touches.

The Braided Beauty

I was in complete awe of this cake when it arrived!  I couldn’t believe the absolutely beauty with all those braids!  So so beautiful!  Suss Pastries did an amazing job!  

Placing a cake like this just on a cake stand would not do it justice!  I searched for hours to find the right piece and couldn’t find just what I wanted.  Nothing had the right feel till I realized that it needed this basket flipped upside down.  It was perfect and very stable!  

International Truck

What is a Jarman Farm photoshoot with out a few dozen images taken in front of our vintage trucks?

We don’t rent out the area by the barn for weddings but it is always a hit for pictures.  The photographers couldn’t resist!  Also the fun lighting from the bistro lights above was so beautiful that night
